Abdallah Touma

Abdallah Touma is the Chief Financial Officer of Wide Plains Insurance Brokers, bringing more than 17 years of specialised experience in insurance broking, corporate finance, data governance, and strategic risk advisory across Lebanon and the broader MENA region. Known for his analytical precision and multidisciplinary expertise, Abdallah plays a pivotal role in shaping WPIB’s financial strategy, operational governance, and long-term growth framework.

As CFO, Abdallah oversees financial planning and reporting, budgeting, cost optimisation, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. He also leads the firm’s data governance and risk-management initiatives, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial and operational data, core pillars of WPIB’s mission.

Abdallah has extensive experience working with corporate clients, insurers, and intermediaries across the region, contributing to the structuring of insurance portfolios, evaluation of risk exposures, and support of executive decision-making through data-driven insights. His ability to bridge finance, risk, and strategy positions him as a key internal advisor and a trusted partner to clients.

He holds an Executive MBA from ESA Business School and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA – Australia & New Zealand), reinforcing his expertise in financial analysis, strategic management accounting, governance, and performance optimisation.

Beyond his core responsibilities, Abdallah is actively involved in business development, operational design, digital transformation, and strengthening WPIB’s overall value proposition. His leadership reflects the firm’s values of transparency, integrity, professionalism, and client-centricity, and he plays a central role in supporting WPIB’s expansion across Lebanon, MENA, and Africa.
